Get to know Radiologist Dr. Seymour Sprayregen, who serves patients in the Bronx, New York.
An 60+ year experienced radiologist, Dr. Sprayregen’s clinical focus is on radiography of the chest, abdomen and extremities, urethrograms, and v4-cystourethrograms. He is the Chief of Radiology at Montefiore Moses Campus in the Bronx, New York. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as a Professor within the Department of Radiology (Vascular & Interventional Radiology) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Back in 1960, Dr. Sprayregen obtained his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. Upon graduation, he took his internship at Philadelphia General Hospital and his residency in radiology under Dr. Harold Jacobson (Diagnostic Radiology) and Dr. Charles Botstein (Radiation Therapy). Throughout his line of work, he was Commander in the US Public Health Service and the Associate Chief of Radiology at the US Public Health Service Hospital, Staten Island, NY (1966-1968). He was also the Director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Montefiore (1968-1988) and Acting Chairman of Radiology at the Moses Campus (1988-1991).
